Our aim is to alleviate the hassle of transportation, ensuring you have accessible and affordable options for your academic and personal journeys. With 25 vouchers available for each route—ORD-Purdue or Purdue-ORD, IND-Purdue or Purdue-IND—this program is tailored to enhance your travel experience. Don’t miss your chance! What is the Shuttle Voucher Program?

The Shuttle Voucher Program offers graduate students affordable one-way shuttle rides between Purdue University and Chicago (ORD) or Indianapolis (IND) airports for academic or personal travel. 25 vouchers each to IND and ORD will be released on a first-come, first-served basis. Each graduate student can obtain one voucher for either ORD or IND travel.

How do I obtain vouchers?

Vouchers are available through a reservation form released in PGSG newsletters. Shuttle vouchers for ORD-Purdue, Purdue-ORD, IND-Purdue, Purdue-IND can be reserved on the following dates:

March 29 at 12 pm ET

April 5 at 12 pm ET

How will I know if I've secured a voucher?

Selected students will be notified via email after filling out the form on a first-come, first-serve basis.

What's the voucher validity period?

Vouchers are valid until May 2024 for the selected students.

What's the process after receiving a voucher?

Students must visit PGSC between 5-9 pm on Mondays to provide travel details. After submission, a redacted ticket with the booking number will be sent to their emails.

How will I know if I've secured a voucher?

The first 25 for IND travel and first 25 for ORD travel will be notified via email by the PGSG PR team about their selection and further details.

Are there additional costs associated?

There are no additional costs associated with this service

Will there be more voucher opportunities?

Yes, additional voucher batches will be purchased in January. Funding comes from the Graduate School without using PGSG budget/student fees.
